Salter Point: Major Renovation

Salter Point: Major Renovation

01. Brief

This inner-city residence in the leafy suburb of Salter Point was in desperate need of a major revamp.  In fact, it's been our biggest renovation to date!

We worked closely with our client & craftsmen to carefully select materials that not only looked incredible, but created a timeless finish.

With more than a decade of experience building character homes, we were able to create a design brief that was the perfect blend of style & functionality for our client.

The interior and exterior of this 1950s house was completely transformed into a light, open, welcoming family home, as per the client's wishes.

Custom features abound, including built-in recessed heaters & phantom screens in the outdoor entertaining area and bi-fold doors to the kids' games room. We even built a custom-made dog run to circumnavigate the pool!

We used Burnt Ash timber as a feature throughout the home, providing a warm element that carried  seamlessly from room to room.

Skylights have been installed in the main rooms, allowing plenty of natural light to come flooding in.

The kitchen was designed with style & functionality in mind, with stainless steel benchtops, timber breakfast bar & porcelain island bench.

As a final flourish, we used a burnished concrete finish for both the front & back areas to tie the house together.
